Trump Takes the Lead in All 7 Swing States

(NationRise.com) – According to February 27 EmersonPolling/The Hill surveys, former President and presidential candidate Donald Trump is currently leading US President Joe Biden in all seven swing states in the country. The surveys analyzed the potential matchup between Trump and President Biden in North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The surveys revealed that Trump has a solid lead in each of those states.

In the potential matchup, the former commander-in-chief leads President Biden by three points in North Carolina, Arizona, and Wisconsin; two points in Michigan and Pennsylvania, and six points in Nevada and Georgia. The surveys also noticed that the Republican leader’s lead seems to expand when a third-party party candidate is added to the mix, which The Hill said was crucial as some of these candidates could hurt Trump more than President Biden.

The surveys showed that one of the clearest examples happened in Nevada, where Trump’s leads expanded to 10 points when Cornel West, Jill Stein, or Robert Kennedy Jr. were added to the mix. In Georgia and North Carolina, the lead expanded to nine points. The lead sat at three points in Michigan, four points in Wisconsin, five points in Pennsylvania, and six points in Arizona.

While some Democrats claimed on social media that these surveys didn’t mean anything, the truth is that these haven’t been the only polls that have shown Trump leading President Biden in every single swing state in the country. A January survey from Morning Consult/ Bloomberg News found the former president leading Biden in each of these seven states, with third-party candidates included and both head-to-head.

The surveys represent a massive concern for President Biden, as many polls have shown he would lose against Trump in a hypothetical rematch of the 2020 presidential election. Some famous figures have even suggested that the Democratic Party could force President Biden to quit and choose another candidate to have more chances of retaining the White House. Many believe the candidate could be California Governor Gavin Newsom.
