More Bad News For Biden as Polls Show Him Losing to Multiple GOP Contenders

(NationRise.com) – President Joe Biden’s poll numbers for the 2024 general election continue to look bleak as multiple Republican candidates pull ahead of him.

Nikki Haley, a candidate for the Republican presidential nominee, has become the second GOP hopeful to pull ahead of Biden in the polls. The former South Carolina governor is currently leading Biden by four points. However, she has yet to catch up to Trump’s lead. The latest polls show his lead over Biden has grown by seven points.

Haley took center stage during the Republican debate on December 6 in Tuscaloosa, AL. She was pitted against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur in the biotech industry.

Haley recently pulled ahead of DeSantis as the second favorite GOP candidate to Trump. However, Trump, who did not attend the Wednesday debate, still maintains a strong lead. He participated in a town hall meeting with Sean Hannity on Fox News instead.

The Messenger/Harris poll interviewed around 2,000 people. Its margin of error hovered around 2%.

Several controversies have rocked Biden’s presidency since he took office. Notably, both Joe and Hunter Biden were discovered to have a number of questionable business dealings, seemingly verified by emails found on Hunter’s laptop.

The US has also suffered significant inflation and economic woes since Biden took office. In fact, the situation became so dire last year that Democrats attempted to redefine “recession” after two consecutive quarters of negative growth.

There have also been concerns across party lines about Biden’s mental fitness. The president is frequently seen losing his train of thought, shaking hands with nonexistent people, and falling without cause. He also appeared lost on numerous occasions after giving speeches.

A poll conducted earlier this year also finds that 71% of Americans believe the nation is headed in the wrong direction as we move into the final two years of Biden’s first term. The continuous level of pessimism has broken records during his presidency.
