Lindsey Graham Claims He’s Afraid of Biden Destroying the World

(NationRise.com) – Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) recently said he’s more worried about President Joe Biden destroying the world than he is about former President Donald Trump destroying democracy.

The remark came during an interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker. She discussed a few controversial points about Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister. According to Welker, Orban is friends with presidents Xi Jinping of China and Putin of Russia, some of the world’s most recognized authoritarians. She then referenced an occasion during which Trump said he liked Orban’s style of leadership.

Welker then asked if Graham believed Orban’s leadership may influence Trump if he’s elected to another term. He responded by saying that we should consider Trump’s first term to determine how he might lead again. He noted improvements to global stability during Trump’s administration and compared them with instabilities that have since gripped the world.

Graham also said that he was angered by the president’s recent apology for his use of the phrase “an illegal” in describing Jose Antonio. Antonio came into the United States illegally in 2022. He was arrested after killing Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student studying at Augusta University, on February 22nd. Biden called Antonio “illegal” at his State of the Union address. He later said he was wrong and credited “undocumented” migrants with building the country.

Graham repeatedly referenced overseas wars that have drained American resources. The United States has been running dangerously low on munitions after sending a continuous supply to Ukraine. He also praised Trump’s idea of providing Ukraine with a loan to aid its fight against Russia rather than freely giving them billions of dollars.

Graham also praised Trump’s plan to altogether remove Hamas from power by destroying its military might. He claimed that he actually fell out of his seat after hearing Biden say that the war could end with Hamas releasing its hostages. Both Graham and Trump believe that’s not enough and agreed that it will just lead to worse conflicts in the future.
