(NationRise.com) – According to a recent NBC News poll, the approval rating of US President Joe Biden hit an all-time low for the media outlet’s surveys as he keeps struggling ahead of the 2024 presidential election. The latest poll showed that the approval rating of the Democratic leader is currently at 40 percent. It also found that the approval rating of Vice President Kamala Harris is also at an all-time low, currently at 29 percent.
When asking voters about whether they would vote for President Biden or the Republican nominee in the 2024 presidential election, the poll showed that the commander-in-chief lags at 37 percent to 48 percent. When asked about whether they would vote for former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump or President Biden, the poll showed that 46 percent said Trump and 44 percent said Biden. The survey was conducted from November 10 to November 14, with 1,000 US registered voters. NBC News noted that its survey has a 3.1 percent margin of error.
While the approval rating of President Biden is at its lowest point, the result showed by NBC News is only one point down from the last survey conducted by the media outlet in September. At that time, the approval rating of the Democratic leader sat at 41 percent.
In its poll, NBC News explained that the erosion of the commander-in-chief’s approval rating is most pronounced among liberals. The media outlet claimed that the main reason why President Biden is losing popularity among so many Democrats is the armed conflict between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
The poll noted that 70 percent of Democratic voters between 18 and 34 years old disapprove of President Biden’s handling of the war and support for the Israeli government, which they claim has gone “too far” in its military operations.
The survey was conducted in the wake of the antisemitic crisis in many cities and universities across the United States, with many liberals and radical-leftist expressing their support for Hamas.
