All's Fair: Republicans Begin Push to Remove Biden From Ballots

(NationRise.com) – As the saying goes, all’s fair in love and war. It would appear this applies to politics as well. Republican state legislators in Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania have introduced measures to have President Joe Biden removed from their ballots in the 2024 presidential election.

The move comes one week after legislators in Colorado had former Republican President Donald Trump removed from their 2024 ballot. The Supreme Court of Colorado determined that the federal Constitution’s “Insurrection Clause” provided sufficient grounds for the removal of Trump from the ballot. Leftists have routinely accused Trump of leading an insurrection on January 6th, 2021, despite his insistence to the crowd that participants remain peaceful.

The state legislators specifically cited the stunt in Colorado as motivation for their proposals. They referred to the move as an “absurdity” and said that it would act as a “stain” in US law and politics for decades.

They cited Biden’s open southern border and corrupt family business practices as sufficient grounds for removal and noted that the Democrats’ own interpretation confirms Biden’s ineligibility. However, the ultimate goal, they noted, is to allow ALL candidates to appear on ballots.

Republicans in Texas also threatened to take action against Biden over his open border policies. Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced the possible measure during an interview with Laura Ingram on Fox News. However, he and the Texas legislator have yet to take action.

Cliff Maloney, a conservative political strategist, praised Aaron Bernstine, Charlice Byrd, and Cory Mcgarr for taking a stand. He also accused GOP leadership of being “asleep at the wheel” after their lackluster response against the decision in Colorado. While Republicans accused the court of conspiring with far-left activists, they still haven’t taken action to have Trump restored to the ballot.

Trump continues to maintain a lead over Biden even as he faces controversial legal troubles. He holds an even more substantial lead over his fellow Republican candidates. Surveys also confirm that Trump continues to gain favor among self-proclaimed independent voters. They are considered vital in the 2024 presidential election.
