Star Wars Voice Actor Has Passed Away

In the press release, the agency said that Dodson was a remarkable artist who managed to expand his career for nearly five decades, not only as a voice actor but also as a producer and a radio man. Stellar Appearances also said that Dodson was always the fan favorite of every convention attendee in the United States and across the world. It added that Dodson will always remain one of the “most iconic characters” in some of the most popular films Hollywood has ever produced, explaining that he has been one of the most loved members of the Star Wars universe since 1983.

The agency also said in its statement that Dodson added his unique sound and voice to characters and scripts not only on dozens of films but also on advertisements and even some video games. It said that the voice actor really “loved his fans” and enjoyed every second he shared with them at conventions in numerous nations across the world. Stellar Appearances also revealed that Dodson always said to his inner circle that one of the greatest honors he ever received was to be inducted into some local chapters of the 501st Legions of Star Wars over the last few decades.

TMZ, which was the first media outlet to reveal Dodson’s death, said it received the information through his daughter. She detailed that he died from a massive heart attack in his home in Evansville, Indiana. The media outlet revealed he was preparing to attend a Horror Con convention.
